TWO SEAS (Dunes and Waves) (11 days)

   The 2 SEAS (Dunes and Waves) circuit is very good for those interested in this type of adventure travel through the desert; It includes the oases of Egypt and Sand Sea, to the temples of the Nile valley, Cairo, Luxor and Red sea. Sleeping in camps and hotels.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival to Cairo

   Our services begin from your arrival at the Cairo International Airport, where our Misrona Tours representative awaits you at the immigration counter with a sign with your name to help you with the visa procedures. Then departure from the airport with your suitcases and transfer in a modern air-conditioned car to the hotel. Finish your hotel accommodation and declare your itinerary details. 

 

Day 2: Giza pyramids and sphinx

   After breakfast and early in the day, departure to visit the impressive visit of the Giza enclosure and its pyramids. A journey of approximately three hours on the Giza plateau to discover the most outstanding monuments worldwide, of course the only wonder of the ancient world that exists until now; the pyramid of King Cheops. Also, next to it are two more large pyramids; that of Khafre, son of Cheops and that of Menkaure, son of the last and grandson of Cheops. Day 3: Cairo - Bawiti – White Desert

   Early departure from Cairo to the Bahariya Oasis 380 km. Upon arrival we have lunch. Then we go to the Black Desert, the Bedouin village (El Haez) with the fresh water well, then we continue to the crystal mountain. Then we continue to El Agabat known as the New White Desert. We continue to the Old White Desert where we admire the natural forms of the mountains. Like (mushrooms - hen - ice cream and sphinx). We spend the night there with dinner for B.Q.A. Sleeping in tents. We enjoyed the stars never seen better in Egypt.

 

Day 4: White Desert - El Dakhlah

   Breakfast in the White Desert and departure on the way to the Farafrah oasis, following the path to the Dakhlah oasis and passing through the Islamic settlement of Al Qasr from medieval times. The capital of the oases during the Ottoman times from the 16th to the 19th centuries. It has partly preserved the medieval character. And its oldest neighborhood is crossed by dark streets. Day 5: El Dakhlah - El Khargah

   Breakfast at the camp and we left with luggage on the way to the Kharga oasis; to the Pioneer Sol Y Mar hotel where we have lunch, and after lunch we go out to visit the Hibis temple. It is undoubtedly the best preserved of all the temples in the oases. It was propped up with large wooden logs to prevent it from collapsing due to water seepage since 1948. It was dismantled and moved to another location not far away, about 500 m. northeast to protect it from being destroyed. Then we visit the Bagawat necropolis; It is 500 m. long by 200 m. the maximum width. They are grouped into 8 groups. In total there are 263 chapels, of which 30 are destroyed. Among them there is only one church that bears the number (180). Dinner at the hotel and spend the night there.

 

Day 6: El Khargah - Luxor

   Breakfast at the hotel and we leave with luggage on the way to Luxor passing through the Gheweta temple: It is 17 km away. south of the city El Kharga. It is a temple dedicated to the Theban triad: Amun, Mut and Khonsu. It is one of the very few temples built in the Ptolemaic era in the desert. It is from the time of the XXV dynasty, named after Pharaoh Darius I, completed by Ptolemy III, IV and X. surrounded by adobe buildings.

   Then we set out on our way to Luxor. Once we arrive, we have lunch and then continue to visit the eastern bank of Luxor; the temple of Luxor, from the time of the new kingdom of the pharaohs: Tuthmosis III, Ramses II, Amenophis III and Alexander the Great next to the Nile River. We can see the avenue of the 2,500-meter-long sphinxes dating back to the 4th century BC and the reign of Nectaneb II that connected the temple of Luxor with the temple of Karnak.

Day 7: Western Luxor

In the early morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast. You’ll then set out to visit the western bank includes the visit of the most important necropolis in Egypt (place of Truth), the Valley of the Kings and we can enter three tombs of the 63 in total that have been discovered so far in the enclosure.    Lunch in local restaurant at Luxor, then we visit the temple of Karnak, it is the largest temple of worship in the world with more than 23 hectares. It is the history of Luxor (Thebes) with 22 centuries of works from the 20th century BC. until the 2nd century AD, all for the cult of the main triad of the city: Amon Re, Mot and Khonsu. Then time to relax with felucca trip... Then back to the hotel. Night at Luxor hotel.

 

Day 8: Luxor - Hurghada
