The Suez Canal area is very interesting. Just seeing the ships and large boats cutting the waves of the channel going from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean is a world going through the channel. The tour is to see the city of Suez and the City of Ismailia.

ITINERARY

   Departure with the Misrona Tours guide from the hotels in Cairo heading northeast towards the city of Ismailia. This city was founded in the second half of the 19th century, and as a center of operations to coordinate the excavation of the nearby Suez Canal.

After taking a short panoramic tour of the city of Ismailía we will go to the banks of the Suez Canal. As we move to its shore, we will learn about the history of this great infrastructure that allows the passage from the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea without having to border the entire African continent.

Thanks to the mega-works being carried out by the current government in the canal area, we will cross to the eastern bank of the canal to see the ships that are cutting the canal's waters sailing north and south between Europe or Asia.

It's time to enjoy a typical Egyptian lunch in a restaurant overlooking the canal... Finally we continue our way back to Cairo.
