ITINERARY

After meeting at your hotel, leave with our Misrona Tours guide to the south of Cairo to see the impressive landscapes of the Faiyum oasis. The city is located 110 kilometers south of Cairo. It is not a mirage, but everything is real.

Wadi el Rayan: is located in the southwestern part of the Faiyum province. Wadi al-Rayyan consists of the Upper Lake, the Lower Lake, the waterfall area connecting the two lakes, the Oyoun al-Rayyan area south of the Lower Lake and the Oyoun al-Rayyan area. It is distinguished by its integrated desert environment, which includes sand dunes, natural springs, various plant species, various animals and marine fossils. The waterfall area is also considered one of the places for practicing various water sports. Wild animal species in the reserve, the most important of which are (white gazelle, Egyptian gazelle and fennec fox - sand fox - wolf). There are also various types of falcons.

Wadi el Hitan: We then continue our way into the depths of the desert 40 kilometers from Wadi el Rayan to the enclosure of Wadi el Hitan, the valley of whales, in the Western Desert of Egypt, contains priceless fossil remains of the oldest and now extinct whale, the archaeocetes. These fossils represent one of the main stories of evolution: the emergence of the whale as a marine mammal from a previous life as a land animal. This is the most important site in the world to demonstrate this stage of evolution.

The Magic Lake: We return by the same route to the Magic Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Egypt, overlooking the sand dunes of Wadi El Hitan. Around the lake you will have the opportunity to witness one of the most impressive sunsets you have ever seen. Magic Lake is a beautiful lake located in Wadi El Hitan in Fayoum. It gets its name from the fact that it changes color several times a day depending on the time of year and the amount of sunlight it receives.

Gabal El-Medawara: The round hills of Faiyum. A hill in Faiyum above the lake that is used for sandboarding. A perfect place to relax and contemplate life and discover a real adventure in the desert.

Lunch: On the way back along the same route, we will have lunch on the shores of Lake Qarun. Here we will be able to appreciate the rich local fauna, especially characterized by a great diversity of birds.

Return: Finally, return to the hotels in Cairo.
