Exploring the Egyptian desert is an unforgettable adventure; as the saying goes, "The sky is the paradise of the rich, and the desert is the paradise of the poor." This journey includes a magical night in the famous White Desert, a landscape reminiscent of the Moon on Earth. Join us to discover its beauty and enjoy counting thousands of stars in its crystal-clear sky.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Cairo - Bahariya Oasis - White Desert

Departure is very early at 7 AM with your Misrona Tours guide, heading from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis, approximately 370 km via desert road. Upon arrival, we'll switch to a 4X4 vehicle to fully enjoy the desert landscapes.

After breakfast, we set off with our luggage to explore the Black Desert, passing by the tomb of the famous Swiss adventurer, René Michel, who showcased the beauty of Egypt's deserts since the 1970s. We stop near the iconic Black Mountain and visit the Bedouin village of El Heiz, which features a freshwater well. Here, we’ll have lunch and some time to relax. After enjoying mint tea, we continue towards the Crystal Mountain.

Next, we visit the small oasis town of El Hayz, where we’ll have lunch by a fresh spring. Afterward, we take photos at Crystal Mountain before continuing to El Agabat, known as the New White Desert. Here, you have the option to surf on the sands and dunes. As evening approaches, we set up our tents and tables, witnessing a stunning sunset where the mountain shapes transform from gold to red.

In the evening, we enjoy a barbecue dinner by the fire and prepare traditional Bedouin tea with mint. We also indulge in music from the Bedouins and their famous argul. Sleeping in tents, we marvel at the stars, clearer than ever in Egypt.

Day 2: White Desert - Bawiti - Cairo 

Good morning! We wake up early for breakfast, as it’s a must not to miss the beautiful sunrise and the changing colors of the sun. We then head towards the Old White Desert, admiring the unique natural formations of the mountains, such as the mushroom, hen and chick, ice cream, and sphinx. We pause for photos along the way.

Afterward, we return to the city of Bawiti in the Bahariya Oasis, where we switch back to our original vehicle for the return trip to Cairo, approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival in Cairo, we enjoy a late lunch before transferring to your hotel.

IMPORTANT NOTES: -

• Please book as early as possible to ensure availability, especially on holidays and celebrations such as Christmas, New Year and Easter.
• In order to contact you we need your mobile number, email and fill out the form on the current page, indicating the start date of the trip and the end date of the trip. Please determine the number of adults and children.
• You can book 2 weeks in advance if there are still places available.
• Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email with your booking voucher. Please print it or download it to your mobile phone or tablet to show to the Misrona Tours representative on the day of the activity.
• The details will include tour operator contact numbers, traveler service and travel information.

• The package price is set in US dollars, but you can pay in Euros, Egyptian Pounds or British Pounds. You can also pay with different credit cards: Visa, MasterCard...etc.
• Payment of 35% of the total amount is required to secure your seats on the tour, including hotel room, cruise cabin, local plane or train tickets and other travel-related services.
• The remaining balance can be paid up to one week before the arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to the Misrona Tours representative.
• Once the tour is confirmed, we guarantee that the price will not change.
• Children under 4 years old Free.

In case of cancellation of your trip after making some/all reservations, the following table of charges will apply: -

• Up to one week before the arrival date, 35% of the total price of the tour will be charged.
• Less than one week up to 48 hours before the arrival date, 50% of the total value of the tour is charged.
• Any cancellation after this time or no-show on the day of booking will not be refunded.
