The temples of Kalabsha, Beit el Waly and Quertassi are located in the first site chosen to receive the temples saved from the Nubian land after building the High Dam and forming Lake Nasser. UNESCO was tasked with saving 18 monuments in the lower Nubian land. This excursion is to visit those monuments and see where the Nasser Lake and the High Dam begin.

Misrona Tours guide will pick you up from your hotel or cruise in Aswan to enjoy first a trip to the complex of temples: Quertasi, Beit el Waly and Temple of Kalabsha which has been dismantled and re-erected on a hill near the High-Dam site. This temple was 28 miles south of Aswan, and was restored during the Roman conquest.

Then end the tour with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960th, protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile.
