If you only have a few days in Egypt and want to see the most significant sites in Cairo and Luxor, this circuit—TWO CAPITALS—offers an incredible experience. With five nights in Egypt, or even four nights, you can complete this journey.

Accommodation:

• 1 night at a hotel in Cairo (including breakfast)
• 2 nights on a sleeper train (round trip, including breakfast and dinner)
• 1 night at a hotel in Luxor

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo 

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager from Misrona Tours will meet you and assist you with your transfer to the hotel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, your tour manager will help you check in and review your holiday itinerary, confirming pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum (with lunch) 

After breakfast, you will meet your Misrona Tours guide for an impressive visit to the Giza complex and its pyramids. Explore the remarkable monuments, including the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, as well as the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. You can also see the iconic Sphinx and its Valley Temple. For those who wish to enter a pyramid, tickets can be purchased for the pyramids of Menkaure (280 L.E.) or Cheops (1000 L.E.) at the main entrance ticket offices.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. After the tour, you will be transferred to the Giza train station to board the sleeper train to Luxor. The journey lasts approximately 9 hours, and dinner will be served on the train.

Day 3: Luxor (East Bank) 

Enjoy breakfast on the train, and upon arrival at Luxor, a Misrona Tours representative will assist you at the train station. Your tour guide will take you to the East Bank, starting with the Luxor Temple, built during the New Kingdom by pharaohs such as Tuthmosis III, Ramses II, and Amenophis III. You will also see the 2,500-meter-long Avenue of the Sphinxes, which connects Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple—the largest temple complex in the world.

After lunch at a local restaurant, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile. Overnight at the Luxor hotel.

Day 4: Luxor (West Bank) 

After a leisurely breakfast, we will set out to visit the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, where you can enter three of the tombs discovered so far. Our guide will choose the most interesting ones to explore. Next, visit the funerary temple of Hatshepsut, known for its unique architecture, and see the temple of Medinet Habu, built for Ramses III. Finally, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that once flanked the entrance to the temple of Amenophis III.

At the appropriate time, transfer to the Luxor train station to board the train back to Cairo. The journey will take approximately 9 hours, and dinner will be served on the train.

Day 5: Cairo to Airport 

After breakfast on the train, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to your next destination.

• It is important to indicate what kind of food you would like to eat for dinner on the train.
• Book as soon as possible to ensure availability, especially on holidays and celebrations such as Christmas, New Year and Easter.
• In order to contact you, we need your mobile number, email and fill out the form on the current page, indicating the start date of the trip and the end date of the trip. Please determine the number of adults and children.
• You can book 2 weeks in advance if there are still places available.
• Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email with your booking voucher. Please print it or download it to your mobile phone or tablet to show to the Misrona Tours representative on the day of the activity.
• The details will include tour operator contact numbers, traveler service and travel information.

• The package price is set in US dollars, but you can pay in Euros, Egyptian Pounds or British Pounds. You can also pay with different credit cards: Visa, MasterCard...etc.
• Payment of 35% of the total amount is required to secure your seats on the tour, including hotel room, cruise cabin, local plane or train tickets and other travel-related services.
• The remaining balance can be paid up to one week before the arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to the Misrona Tours representative.
• Once the tour is confirmed, we guarantee that the price will not change.
• The price is for 4 travelers or more.

In case of cancellation of your trip after making some/all reservations, the following table of charges will apply: -

• 30 days before the arrival date, 10% of the total price of the tour will be charged.
• Up to 15 days before the arrival date; 20% of the total price of the tour will be charged.
• Up to 7 days before the arrival date, 35% of the total price of the tour will be charged.
• Less than a week before the arrival date, 90% of the total value of the tour will be charged.
