Between Luxor and Aswan, there are several places of interest that are best visited by land. We offer an excursion to explore the Edfu Temple, the best-preserved temple in the country, and the Kom Ombo Temple, which includes a museum dedicated to crocodile mummies.

ITINERARY

Edfu Temple: In the morning, a Misrona Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor. You will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin your day tour to the Edfu and Kom Ombo temples. The first stop will be Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus. Located on the west bank of the Nile River in Edfu, this temple is dedicated to the god Horus and is one of several temples built during the Ptolemaic period.

Kom Ombo Temple: Next, we will visit Kom Ombo Temple, which was also built during the Ptolemaic dynasty. This temple is dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Much of the temple has been eroded by the Nile over the years. We will also visit the mummified crocodile museum located on the premises.

Return: After completing our visits, we will return to Luxor, where we will arrive at the starting point of the tour. Alternatively, you have the option to continue on to the city of Aswan.

• A deposit of 50 % of the total price is required to complete reservations.
• The remaining amount is payable in cash before the tour begins.
