ITINERARY

Valley of the Kings: Your tour begins with pick-up services from your hotel in Luxor or any designated location. We will start by visiting the Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile River, where you will explore three tombs selected by our guide. This necropolis, built by the pharaohs of the New Kingdom over nearly five centuries, features hypogeums carved into the limestone of the Theban mountains. The tombs boast well-preserved colors and fascinating texts that describe the afterlife and the king's journey to paradise.

Temple of Deir Bahary: Next, we will visit the Temple of Deir Bahary, constructed by Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I. She ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C.) and is the only female pharaoh to have reigned during the New Kingdom.

Colossi of Memnon: On our way, we will pass by the Colossi of Memnon, the remnants of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.

Temple of Luxor: We will continue to the east bank of Luxor to visit the Temple of Luxor, which was originally built by Amenhotep III during the 18th Dynasty and later completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.

Lunch: After the temple visit, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Temple of Karnak: Following lunch, we will head to the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

End of Tour: Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel in Luxor.
