Full-Day Tour: Pyramids of Giza, Memphis, and Sakkara (8 Hours)

This comprehensive tour, including lunch, allows you to discover three monumental sites and learn about Egypt's history from the Old Kingdom.

ITINERARY

Giza Pyramids: After breakfast, your Misrona Tours guide will pick you up from your hotel to start the journey to the Giza Plateau. Here, you will visit the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The tour begins with a three-hour exploration, providing unforgettable panoramic views of the three pyramids, which date back to the Old Kingdom, 4th Dynasty. Next, you'll visit the Sphinx, the largest carved statue made from a single piece of stone, commissioned by King Khafre. It features the king’s face and the body of a lion. You will also have the option to explore the interior of one of the pyramids (not included—additional fees apply).

Lunch: Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

Sakkara: Next, you'll be transferred to Sakkara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. Here, you can admire the intricate reliefs depicting the daily life of ancient Egyptians inside the tomb of a senior dignitary.

Memphis: Following Sakkara, we will visit Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, where you can see one of the largest statues of King Ramses II, along with an alabaster sphinx and other statues.

Shopping: You will have the opportunity to shop at popular stores, where you can find authentic Egyptian products like papyrus and various souvenirs.

At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel.

Optional Evening Activity: In the evening, you may wish to attend the Great Pyramids Sound & Light Show. You can reserve this optional night tour in advance.

• A deposit of 50 % of the total price is required to complete reservations.
