ITINERARY

   After breakfast Misrona tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to start the journey towards the desert of Dahshour. The visit of the Dahshour enclosure and visit its two pyramids; the rhomboid pyramid and the red pyramid. Both date from the time of King Senefru; father of King Cheops. These pyramids are the last founded in Egypt before starting in the wonder of the world, the pyramid of Cheops. The rhomboid pyramid historically, the oldest of the two; it still has a large part of the cladding that protected it from time in limestone. South of that pyramid is the small pyramid of his wife Hetep Heres; the mother of Cheops. The other pyramid because of the iron oxide in the stone is called the red pyramid. The enclosure has a very large and very important military base that is why you cannot take photos with strong zoom for security reasons. You can get inside the chambers of both pyramids, but they are really quite long and deep.

   Then continue your tour to Sakkara and visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest existing colossal stone building of Egypt, which were built around 2630 BC for King Djoser. You visit one of several tombs that are in Sakkara of the nobles known as Mastabas with their well-preserved colors and interesting themes of the daily life of the ancient Egyptians. They can also enjoy a panoramic view of the great pyramid field of the western Egyptian desert... Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

   Then head to the famed pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure. Next, see the Great Sphinx, a limestone statue of the mythical creature the Sphinx with the head of a Pharaoh and the body of a lion. Explore the Valley Temple, a funerary complex including a mortuary temple and the Pyramids of Chephren. Once you have finished exploring the rich history and the iconic landmarks of Egypt. You will have the chance to shop by visiting the most popular stores to see Egyptian products like papyrus and souvenirs. At the end of the tour, we return to the hotel.

   In the evening, you have the option to attend the Great Pyramids Sound & Light Show.
