This adventure circuit through Egypt traces the footsteps of Alexander the Great, taking you through deserts and along the Mediterranean coast. The itinerary includes visits to Cairo, Alexandria, and the enchanting Siwa Oasis, where you can experience its wonders and adventures.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Your tour manager from Misrona Tours will meet you at Cairo International Airport and assist you with your transfer to the hotel in an exclusive air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, the tour manager will help you check in and review your holiday itinerary, confirming pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Tour of the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum (with lunch)

After breakfast, depart early to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Following the visit, enjoy a traditional lunch at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Egyptian Museum, home to invaluable artifacts. Return to the hotel to rest. In the evening, if interested, you can opt for the sound and light show at the pyramids—a worthwhile experience.

Day 3: Excursion to Alexandria (with lunch)

Leave early in the morning for Alexandria. Start with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom el Shokafa, followed by the Roman Amphitheater. Next, head to the Old Port of Alexandria to see the Fortress of Qaitbay, built in the 15th century on the site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. In the afternoon, visit the New Alexandrina Library, inaugurated in October 2002, one of the most significant cultural spaces in the Eastern Mediterranean. Continue to your hotel in Alexandria for the night.

Day 4: Alexandria - El-Alamein - Siwa (half board)

Depart at 7:00 AM in a private air-conditioned vehicle to El-Alamein (approximately one hour). Visit the WWII Museum and the cemetery commemorating the Battle of El-Alamein. Enjoy lunch at the beautiful Bay of Matrouh, then continue your journey following Alexander's footsteps through the Western Desert to Siwa Oasis. Arrive at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Siwa (Cultural Visits) (half board)

After breakfast, visit the Temple of the Oracle of Amun in Aghurmi and the Temple of Amon-Ra in Um Ubayda. Explore the necropolis known as Gabal el Mauta (Mountain of the Dead), where you can see the tombs of nobles, including those of Amun, Isis, and the Crocodile Tomb. Next, visit Cleopatra's Well and enjoy lunch near the freshwater fountain. In the afternoon, head to Fatnas Island to witness a stunning sunset before returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Siwa Oasis (Salt Lakes and Safari) (half board)

After breakfast, embark on a day dedicated to the deserts of Siwa. Transfer to the salty lakes, reminiscent of the Dead Sea, and explore the phosphoric springs of Abu Sharouf and the expansive olive groves. Continue to Mount Dakrour, then venture into the Great Sahara to experience the majestic sand dunes, including opportunities for sand surfing. Return to your hotel in Siwa for the night.

Day 7: Siwa - Matrouh - Cairo (half board)

After breakfast, check out and visit the ancient city of Shaly, built from salt stone. Begin your journey back to Cairo, stopping in Matrouh for lunch before continuing to your Cairo hotel for the night.

Day 8: Cairo (International Flights)

After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to Cairo International Airport for your international flight.

• The details will include tour operator contact numbers, traveler service and travel information.

• The package price is set in US dollars, but you can pay in Euros, Egyptian Pounds or British Pounds. You can also pay with different credit cards: Visa, MasterCard...etc.
• Payment of 35% of the total amount is required to secure your seats on the tour, including hotel room, cruise cabin, local plane or train tickets and other travel-related services.
• The remaining balance can be paid up to one week before the arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to the Misrona Tours representative.
• Once the tour is confirmed, we guarantee that the price will not change.

In case of cancellation of your trip after making some/all reservations, the following table of charges will apply: -

• 30 days before the arrival date, 10% of the total price of the tour will be charged.
• Up to 15 days before the arrival date; 20% of the total price of the tour will be charged.
• Up to 7 days before the arrival date, 35% of the total price of the tour will be charged.
• Less than a week before the arrival date, 90% of the total value of the tour will be charged.
