ITINERARY
At 8 AM, meet your Misrona Tours guide in your hotel lobby for a special excursion to enjoy the majestic treasures of Cairo.
Abdeen Palace: Your first stop will be the Abdeen complex, built on the site of a small mansion owned by Abdeen Bey. This opulent palace is renowned for its exquisite ornaments, paintings, and numerous clocks adorned with pure gold. The upper floors, formerly the residences of the royal family, are reserved for foreign dignitaries, while the lower floors house the Silver Museum, Weapons Museum, Royal Family Museum, and Presidential Gifts Museum. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the newly opened Museum of Historical Documents, inaugurated in January 2005.
Manyal Palace: Next, you'll visit the Palace of Prince Mohamed Ali, known as the Manyal Palace. This historical site belonged to an Egyptian prince from the bureaucratic social class of the 20th century. You’ll have the chance to see the ecological museum within the enclosure and explore the palace itself.
Nilometer: Continue your tour with a visit to Cairo's only Nilometer, which dates back to the 9th century AD during the Arab period in Egypt.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious Egyptian meal at a local restaurant in Cairo.
Felucca Ride: After lunch, relax on a 45-minute felucca ride along the Nile, taking in the beautiful views of the city.
