ITINERARY

Citadel of Salah el Din: After breakfast, your guide from Misrona Tours will pick you up at your hotel to begin your journey to the Citadel of Salah el Din. Here, you'll explore Egypt's largest citadel, built to protect against Crusader invasions in 1167 A.D. You'll also visit the stunning Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, which dates back to the 1830s, and appreciate the beauty of Islamic art while learning about its significance.

Coptic Cairo: Next, you'll travel to Coptic Cairo, the oldest part of the capital. Visit the Holy Crypt of the Virgin Mary, where she sought refuge with Jesus, and explore the Hanging Church, the oldest church in Egypt, discovering the reasons behind its unique name. You'll also see one of the notable Jewish synagogues in the area.

Lunch: During the tour, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

Egyptian Museum of Antiquities: In the afternoon, enjoy an extended visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to the world's richest collection of Pharaonic artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun and numerous statues showcasing Egypt's ancient wealth.

Khan el Khalili Bazaar: Finally, conclude your tour with an hour at the Khan el Khalili Bazaar, where you can explore vibrant displays of fabrics, handicrafts, and antiques.

At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel.
